TMDSICE3359: Modifying driver when changing DDR3 memory

Part Number: TMDSICE3359

Hi,

I've noticed in comments that TI does not recommend chips but it seems that the automotive version of the Micron DDR3 memory chip used in the evaluation board TMDSICE3359 is considered to be in production only until 2025. If I want to develop a board of my own, do you think that I should choose a DDR3 chip of my own and try to write the driver for it or do you have an easy way to get a list of DDR3 chips used in different boards containing any AM335x that the driver is already written?

Regards,

Jani
