AM5716: Replaceable AM571x family devices without changing Firmware.

Hello Experts.

Due to the lack of AM5716AABCX stock, our customer is investigating replaceable AM571x types. I mean, they are asking if it is possible to replace AM5716AABCX with following devise, without changing Firmware.

  • AM5716AABCXA and AM5716AABCXQ1

Regarding those devices, the Operating Junction temperature range is only different, so, customer is able to replace AM5716AABCX with them without changing FW. Is that correct?

  • AM5716AABCXEA and AM5716AABCXEQ1

Those devices are supporting EtherCAT slave and POWERLINK slave on PRU-ICSS. If customer does not use PRU, Is customer able to replace AM5716AABCX with them without changing FW?  If customer is using PRU, should customer do any modification for A15/PRU/CM4 ?

  • AM5718 series (AM5718AABCX, AM5718AABCXA, AM5718AABCXEA, AM5718AABCXEQ1, AM5718AABCXQ1)

AM5718 is supporting Display Subsystem, IVA and GPU. Is customer able to replace AM5716AABCX with them without changing FW?

Can I have your advice/comments on those inquiries, please?
