AM6412: Ethercat master?

Team,

Is it possible to run Ethercat master on AM6412 (A53 running Linux) via the CPSW?
Is there anything that would prevent to make an Ethercat master evaluation on the AM64-SK board?
Will Ethercat master stack part of our global industrial stack plan? Or should third party be contacted for this?

Hi,

Yes, EtherCAT master can be run on the CPSW on the AM6412 running Linux. The EtherCAT Master stack is supplied by several 3rd parties. One 3rd party would be CODESYS that has an EtherCAT library that users can use today. TI will not be providing this stack in the industrial protocol offerings.

Hi,

As I mentioned earlier the EtherCAT Master stack is not supported by TI and runs in the application space and is available from 3rd parties as the ones mentioned in this thread.
