We would like to make 66AK communicate with another 66AK via PCIe.
Because there is No built-in hardware support for hot-plug of PCIe, we should turn on Rootcomplex device after Endpoint device turned on.
(HOST Device Configuration:
The PCI EP device must be powered-on and configured before the PCI HOST device. This restriction is because the PCI HOST doesn’t have hot plug support.)
However, it is impossible the above power-up seaquence for our PCB. Power supply is common between PCIe HOST SoC and PCIe Endpoint SoC.
Insted of the power-up sequence, it is possilbe to delay reset release of 66AK as PCIe HOST SoC compared to PCIe Endpoint SoC.
Is this reset release sequence OK insted of the power-up sequence?
Powered on timing of Endpoint SoC is tha same as powerrd on timing of HOST SoC. It's just that the difference is reset release timing.
Then, how about above suggestion with reset sequence?
If it is OK, Which kind of reset signal of 66AK as Rootcomplex device should be delayed? (PORn pin , LRESETn pin, RESETFULLn pin)
