I am facing issue in which I find that my system time is not updated even though RTC is present. We have also added battery support to RTC in our custom board which has AM335x processor
I do the following steps
1. Connect to a Wi-Fi AP. NTP update the time
2.Device synchronizes the system time with internet time (Say, 01 Sep 2021 12:00 PM)
3 Disable/Disconnect Wi-Fi
4. Power OFF the device at 01 Sep 2021 12:15 PM
5. Power On the device after 15 mins
6. Device boots up and shows the time as 01 Sep 2021 12:15 PM. But the time should be 01 Sep 2021 12:30 PM.
Please suggest solution asap
