Customer has experience to use TMS320DM6437ZWT4 but customer has new project and would like to use TLV320AIC326X. I would like to check if software or firmware is match between two device?

These are 2 different devices, the firmware is not compatible to each other.

Here is the product folder link for TLV320AIC3268 as an example. There you will find more information of the device, driver etc.

To clarify what you mean by "the firmware is not compatible to each other":

* Do you mean that the exact same firmware that would run on TLV320AIC3268 would not run on TMS320DM6437?

* Do you mean that the user could not connect TLV320AIC3268 over I2S to TMS320DM6437 because of some software issue?

Is the customer planning to replace or use TMS320DM6437 with TLV320AIC3268?

If they want to use with AIC326x device then that will work, it's standard I2S.

Hi,

Yes you can develop codes from TMS320DM6437 to interface with TLV320AIC3268 I2S.

Below is an example of using he McBSP port to generate the I2S clocks and data.
