PROCESSOR-SDK-AM335X: ISO7816 on PRU of AM335X

I looked through that wiki page in the archives. I could post an HTML copy of the wiki page to this thread if you think it will be helpful, but the main issue is that the OMAP-L138 code referenced by the wiki page is no longer available online (both SmartCard linux driver, that was developed on Linux kernel 2.6 and not forward-ported, and the PRU firmware).

We do provide a Soft UART implementation on AM335x, documented here:

I do not think TI implemented SmartCard on AM335x PRU soft UART. There might be a third party who implemented SmartCard at some point. Let me check around. Please ping the thread if I have not replied within a couple of days.

Thank you very much!  I have got the wiki page from our local FAE, but the key points are the source code is no longer availbale online. 
If you have the PRU firmware and kernel  2.6 driver, I think I can port to other version by myself.

Let me check to see if the software is totally gone, or if it is hiding in an archive somewhere.

If you decide to develop yourself instead of using a third party, read these Important Disclaimers:

* TI will not be able to offer ANY support on getting this code running on OMAP-L138 with Linux kernel 2.6, on porting it to AM335x later Linux kernels, on debugging the firmware or drivers, etc. The PRU project was written in PASM. TI no longer supports programming the PRU in PASM, so if you continue to use PASM you will need to seek support from the beaglebone community.

* TI does NOT guarantee that the original code will work on all smartcards. The original OMAP-L138 code was only validated on one type of smart card as per Melissa's response here (https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/333975/soft-uart-smart-card-pru-am1808-am335x)

* There are significant differences between the hardware of OMAP-L138 PRUSS, and AM335x PRU-ICSS (mostly added features). I expect the PRU drivers for OMAP-L138 on Linux kernel 2.6 and AM335x on Linux kernel 4.x or 5.x to be completely different (AM335x uses RemoteProc driver).

* The CLPRU compiler supports OMAP-L138, but TI does NOT currently provide support for programming OMAP-L138 PRU (so you can write code for it, but I cannot answer questions about it). Ok, the first places I looked did not have the software. There are one or two more places I can check, but it will take some amount of time for me to even get access to the places I have not checked. I will hold off on searching those locations until I get confirmation that you are actually interested in doing all the porting work discussed above with no TI support.

Dear Saulnier, thank you for you reply. I have an mature product which used AM335x SPI <-> STM32<-> ESAM(ISO7816 V3)  to communicate with ESAM before. But currently the STM32 is very expensive, I have to use the AM335X to connect the ESAM chip directly. I know the difference between OMAP and AM335x, and the difference between the kernel 2.x, 3.x, 4.x, 5.x, I have to do all the porting work above. Thank you for you help!

Thank you!  I found that there is a soft uart linux driver in processor-sdk-linux-am335x, but the pru firmware for swuart is not included. How to get the source code of  pru swuart  firmware?  I want to implement smart card driver based on swuart.
