Hi to all,

Can TI DS90UB964-Q1EVM (FPD-Link III Camera Hub Deserializer Evaluation Module) be fitted and directly connected to the J721EXCPXEVM CP Board through CSI-2 interface, or do we need to combine those two bards with Samtec high-speed cable?

The same question if I'll use the TDA4VM processor starter kit for Edge AI vision system.

Yes you can connect DS90UB964-Q1 EVM with J721EXCPXEVM or the TDA4VM Processor Starter Kit, please reference the respective user guides for more info.

The boards will be connected via the Samtec connectors.

All Samtec connectors on EVMs are QSH-20. They are not a pair.

Need QTH-20 to QTH-20 cable for connection

Do you see a J31 on the board? The user guide showed J31 is a QTH connector, which will allow you to pair with the QSH connector on TDA3 EVM. Table 1-18 of the user guide showed it is available on DS90UB964-Q1 variant, but I just noticed there is a specific orderable part number called DS90UB964-Q1EVMTDA for mating withTDA3 EVM. Please check on the board, connector should be on the backside.
