Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB1210
We currently have problems with the USB path in our device series with the AM3715CUSD100 processor.
Operating system is WinCE 7.0
USB Stick and filecontent is visible correct in operating system. When writing data to the USB (creating a directory or saving files) the entire USB system collapses.
There are no more data packets on USB wire and digital interface to transceiver TUSB1210BRHBR stops (only 60MHz clock is running) The rest of the system (CPU, operating system, Display etc.) continues to run unchanged. The whole thing smells like a timing problem, as there are also circuit boards where the problem only occurs "sporadically". But there are also systems in which the error always occurs. The problem is probably related to a change in the Y9 oscillator. We were forced this for reasons of material availability: from previously: ASEMB-26.000MHZ-LY-T (Abracon) to new: ASEMB-26.000MHZ-XY-T (up to + 105 ° C) (Abracon) The USB part is connected to the AM3715CUSD100 via TUSB1210BRHBR. The 60Mhz clock there shows no abnormalities. When measuring and testing the ASEMB-26.000MHZ-XY-T signals with the oscilloscope, we could not observe any negative properties.
(signal level, jitter, frequenz deviation)
It is completely inexplicable why this central 26MHz oscillator has a negative effect to writing to the USB stick !! ??
Any idea ?
