In order to connect TMDSEVM6657LS EVB interfaces of the TMS320C6655 DSP through AMC connector of PCIE to a Host and SRIO to FPGA , does TI has any recommendation for suitable connector + cable to transmit about 8Gbps lane rate ?

Hello Ohad

The SMA-AMC Ultra 9000 from www.silicontkx.com is a solution. This card breaks out the SERDES signals to SMA. Then you can cross-connect the pairs with SMA cables. Looks like their website is either down or they are no longer operating.

I am told that internally when these devices /board came out , these were tested with uTCA AMC test chassis and associated backplane cards that were built in house.

Nothing available now from ti or internally.

Hi Mukul,

The site you provided: www.silicontkx.com is unsecured and therefore is not legitimated, there is no way to get in to it, please provide the datasheet of the device TI recommends to work with in order to interface that DSP EVB.

I am attaching a few old product brochure and specifics from silicontkx and also an EVM to EVM board that used to be previously orderable.

None of them will be available now and I do not have any additional info or recommendation beyond what you see in these attachments.
