SK-TDA4VM: Do I need to install the driver or set something to install the CSI-2 camera on the SK-TDA4VM?

I think so, but you would require fusion board and imx390 camera..

Can I connect the CSI camera directly to the CSI2 PORT on the SK-TDA4VM?

Do I need to install the driver for CSI2 PORT or can I use it without installing the driver?

Hello Yi Fong,

Currently the SDK supports using OV5640 CSI camera module.

It is disabled by default, but can be enabled following the steps here: http://software-dl.ti.com/jacinto7/esd/processor-sdk-linux-sk-tda4vm/08_00_01_10/exports/docs/getting_started.html?highlight=csi#ov5640-yuv-sensor. For this particular OV5640 CSI camera module used as an example, an external 5V power supply is required.

The camera I use is from imagesource and driven by tiscamera.
After I installed the driver on SK-TDA4VM, an error occurred, as shown below.
Collected errors:
 * Solver encountered 1 problem(s):
 * Problem 1/1:
 * - package tiscamera-tcamprop-0.1.0.armhf does not have a compatible architecture
 *
 * Solution 1:
 * - do not ask to install tiscamera-tcamprop-0.1.0.armhf

And I refer to the webpage you provided, which mentions Camera sources (v4l2), and the camera source also uses GStreamer.

Does SK-TDA4VM not support the camera I am using?
