TMS320C6748: How to increase EMIF speed in flash mode of C6748?

Hi sir,

I am using TMS320C6748 device with CS5 of ARTIX FPGA Connected,

In debug mode and Release mode working communicating with FPGA and the frequency of 375MHz clock and 93.75MHz of EMIF.

Properly in DEBUG mode and Release mode working fine. but i loaded into FLASH it's not communicating.

when clock frequency 375MHz and EMIF 17.8MHz(Below 20MHz) from flash it's working fine.

When EMIF above 20MHz from flash its not communicating to FPGA, But in DEBUG and RELEASE MODE working fine.

How to increase EMIF speed from flash.

Could you give me some suggestions.

    Ram,

    I would recommend that you use the clocking tool for C6748 to setup the clock for the device.

    Is the clock setting only thing that you are changing? Are there EMIF asynchronous read/write timing settings that need to be changed based on the clocking ? Other than the clocking of EMIF, I recommend that you review the timing configuration when communicating with the FPGA.
