AM3357: Replace AMIC110 with AM3357

Hi,

My customers made a product with AMIC110. For the next model, they want to use the AM3357. (pin-compatible)
Is it possible to replace AMIC110 with AM3357?

PMIC:TPS650250
I can't use it at 800MHz, but I think it can be used at 600MHz.

Hello Rei,

Yes, AM335x & AMIC110 are in the same part family. So as long as the AM335x device has all the features you want to access, then you should be able to use it in your next design. Check the datasheets to be sure.

Did you have a specific question about the PMIC?

Thank you for teaching me so kindly. Customers want to increase the operating frequency by using AM3357.

I checked the following documentation and I think TPS650250 can be used at 600MHz of AM3357. Is this correct?

it shows that TPS650250 supports the 600MHz speed grade for AM335x.
