AM5718: UART boot

Hi,

Through uart boot, the customer found that u-boot-spl.bin cannot exceed 0x3810 during the test. Once it exceeds, there is no output from uart. But it is mentioned in TRM that " This space is used by the public ROM code to store a downloaded booting image. It can be up to 504 KiB".

Is this related to configuration? How to set it up?

Are you referring to the size of u-boot-spl.bin? If yes that is too small. Can you please be clear on what size of u-boot-spl.bin is actually failing?

Yes, it will fail as long as it exceeds 0x3810.

Current SDK 6.03 we have not validated the UART boot mode.

That said the MLO side of tje 6.3 SDK is: ls -l ../prebuilt-images/MLO-am57xx-evm
-rw-r--r-- 1 keerthy keerthy 157799 Apr 20 2020 ../prebuilt-images/MLO-am57xx-evm

157799 --> 0x26867. So 0x3810 seems to less for MLO.

We have not validated the UART boot for AM57XX in our latest SDK. Closing this.
