we are searching for solution to make such a camera:
1. First stage
- we use external camera with YUV4:2:2 output at the moment. We need upscale image (from YUV4:2:2) 2-3 times and output it to the YUV4:2:2 or 24bits RGB
- we need to add our on screen display information to the output stream
2. 2nd stage
- change camera in the above device to the CCD sensor
General information - input stream can be ~384x288 - 640x480, output stream 800x600 or 1200x800
Looks like TMS320DM36* series processors can do it. But there is few similar devices in this series and I am not sure which one can better. Maybe TMS320DM36* is not a best choice? It would be great to hear opinion from the people who work with or solve similar tasks
