Is it not supported for custom layers to use floating-point output？

Why TIDL's softmax layer can use floating-point output？

Hi,

Custom layer is implemented by the customer and can support floating point as long as its supported by custom layer. Whether the consumer layer supports the same may and may not be true ( depends on the consumer). Can you provide more details about from where this error is coming?

The custom layer is the last layer. And the error is coming when tidlRunPersimTool called.

Is it a new feature of SDK 08.00.00.12 or SDK 08.01.00.11?

Hi,

Yes the feature to have floating point output for other layers was added as part of SDK 8.0 and I would recommend you to directly try with SDK 8.1
