AM3356: Powering 2x AM3356s in Parallel

Part Number: AM3356

Hello,

I have an application where I need two separate AM3356 devices operating during a normal power state, and only one of the two operating when the system is running off auxiliary system power. To save in space and design complexity, I was hoping that I could be powering both devices from the same beefy PMIC, and have a clean way to completely shut down the 2nd Sitara when the system is running from aux power. I was thinking I could do this by just keeping the respective PWRONRSTn for that processor asserted through some means, but wanted to reach out and see if there was a more efficient way of approaching this.

I'd really prefer not to have a 2nd PMIC for this purpose if possible, nor a bunch of load switches for power gating.

Thanks,

David
