We are looking for a more powerful processor that is still suitable for use in a battery powered device. Unfortunately, I cannot discuss details in a public forum. Please understand our need for privacy in this matter

We are not looking for a MCU or a power management solution.

The AM3358 looks like it has quite a few nice features =) Is there any information available on its life-cycle? Isn't Cortex-A8 quite old by now?

I see that secure boot require custom part agreement with TI. This could potentially be a problem
