Hi Devendra,
Unfortunately, we currently do not support RTOS applications on the SK-TDA4VM platform. If there is a need to develop RTOS application using the TDA4VM processor, we recommend using the EVM: https://www.ti.com/tool/J721EXSOMXEVM
I would also recommend taking a look at this FAQ that goes over the difference between SK and EVM board, as well as the supported software: https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/1083612/faq-tda4vm-what-is-the-difference-between-sk-tda4vm-and-the-j721e-evm

Hi Takuma Fujiwara,
Unfortunately, we currently do not support RTOS applications on the SK-TDA4VM platform
So, why does the SDK Linux for Edge AI doc says that comprises 3 parts (one of them the SDK RTOS)?, and also mentions that when the RTOS is modified we should rebuild it and include those files in the sd card, if the SK-TDA4VM does not support RTOS under what circumstances would be required to modify and rebuild the RTOS binaries?
Hi Jairo,
I would recommend reading this Edge AI documentation for cases that the SDK RTOS portion needs to be modified: https://software-dl.ti.com/jacinto7/esd/processor-sdk-linux-sk-tda4vm/08_02_00/exports/docs/faq.html
SK-TDA4VM takes components from the SDK RTOS, such as the libraries for the C7x/C66x DSP core, which is the reason why the documentation says it is comprised of 3 parts including SDK RTOS. However, we do not guarantee the full feature and functionality of SDK RTOS on the SK-TDA4VM, since the SDK RTOS was originally developed for TDA4VM-EVM, and hardware-wise the SK board is a subset of the EVM.
