AM3517: AM3517AZCNA: need Crypto unit being initialized even not used ?

Hi champs!

Originaly customer is using AM3505AZCNA in his application.

Due to delivery issues of this part, we suggested these parts as pin/binare compatible products.

AM3505AZCNAC (Crypto enabled)
AM3517AZCNA
AM3517AZCNAC (Crypto enabled)

Seems AM3517AZCNAC could be delivered, but customer fears, that crypto unit has to be initialized, even not being used in his AM3505AZCNA binary.

Can you check, if extra SW is needed or reset state is uncritical for their binary?

I have reassigned this post to folks in the hardware team to see how the crypto enabled/disabled was managed in various part variants on this family.

My assumption would be that they should be able to seamlessly use it , but we need to likely look at archives on how the device configuration is set. This may take some time.

I always recommend that if possible, the customer tries a few units to reconfirm that the part is drop in replace in their hardware/software system.
