I don't think TMS320DM648 is supported by CCS 11.2.

I see TMS320DM648 Device on the same CCS version on my colleague's computer.

But he didn't know why we both got different results.

How do I add devices to Code Composer Studio? Update manager?

You need to re-run the CCS installer over the existing CCS installation. The installer will detect the existing install and allow you to add components that you did not select the first time. Make sure "DaVinci" device support is selected to install DM648 support.
