AM5729: DDR Config on custom board : disabling EMIF2

Part Number: AM5729

Hi,

I'm using a custom board based on am5729 that uses 2 (256*16) ram similar to evm5729( evm5729 uses 4 of them I use 2). I want to update DDR config info in the gel file and board library for this custom board. Both EVM5729 and IDK5729 use 2 emif of the processor but in my design, I'm only using one of them. I was wondering how I can modify the existing gel file and ddr config file in the board library to reflect this change (and remove emif2). What steps should I take ? I want to avoid rewriting a gel file or board library from scratch and instead use a copy of EVM5729 and modify the necessary parts, since it's closest to my custom board in terms of ram at least.

Also,

EVM5729 and IDK5729 use different RAM  ICs (different part numbers) but they use the same sdram settings in terms of config and other things, does this mean the exact values are not that different from board to board ? I still need to disable emif2 I guess.

Also, the EMIF design tools, gives me additional registers that I can't find on board library ddr file (.c file for ddr config), which registers are the important ones that change from board to board ?

Thanks in advance for your help.
