J7200XSOMXEVM: CAN12 is blocked

Genius 13655 points
Part Number: J7200XSOMXEVM

Hello Champs,

Currently, when debugging J7200 DEMOProject (BOOT_APP_MCU_RTOS), all CAN (8 channels) are configured in the same way, but:

1. The main domain CAN12 is blocked, please see the below for the waveform of TX;

2. After primary domain CAN15 is initialized and written to the base address 0x02698000, no packets are sent from all CAN, and the controller current is coded from 7500mA to 6800mA.

Thanks.

Can you help with the below questions

    1. I believe this is being tested on a custom board and not the J7200 EVM?

    2. Is there any other software running on the other cores or just MCU1_0 running the CAN application?

    3. If you do not configure the CAN12, does the system behave as expected?

    2. After primary domain CAN15 is initialized and written to the base address 0x02698000, no packets are sent from all CAN, and the controller current is coded from 7500mA to 6800mA.

    4. Does the CAN15 go to bus off? Any protocol errors happen? Are the other CAN instances working fine in this case and only issue is seen with CAN 15?

    Regards

    Karan

  • 1.yes, test on custom board based on SDK 08_04.

    2.no, just MCU1_0 is running.

3.seven CANs are configured including CAN12,but only CAN12 works wrong,TX wave is shown as the picture above.

4.eight CANs are configured including CAN12,CAN15. CAN15 is blocked when it is in Can_mcanRamInitDone(). And others CANs  works wrong (no output).

  • is there any new  message?
