Hello,
Does the TDA4 supports QT application and are there documentation that shows how to Integrate QT with the TDA4?
Hey Karan,
In the Linux SDK, it describes how to run QT applications with IVI shell. I wanted to understand more on integrate/deploy QT UI applications onto the TDA4
Hi Daviel,
Can you please point me to the documentation that describes this for my reference?
Let me check if QT is supported, but in the meanwhile, if it is supported you should be able to use the libraries provided in the SDK to deploy your own QT application, for example, like this:
https://www.qt.io/product/qt6/qml-book/ch02-start-hello-world
As long as our QT version is compatible.
Regards,
Erick
You can find it here. Thanks!
I found a relevant post that has more information on integrating SW (i.e. QT)
Daviel,
Thanks for the links. It looks like QT is available in the SDK release as part of the default Yocto build. Please take a look at the QT examples provided in the following directory of the default filesystem:
/usr/share/qt5/examples
You can run any of them and see examples of its usage.
If you wish to build your own example, you should be able to cross compile your own examples as long as the qt features you use are supported.
Regards,
Erick
