DRA821U: Firewall disable

Part Number: DRA821U

Hi Experts,

Our customer is not able to start the cores on the DRA821U board, as the firewall is enabled.
Is there a method/steps to disable the firewall? If yes, can you please share the steps.
Since the firewall is enabled it's throwing  "firewall exception error" and getting aborted. Need a solution to resolve the exception error.
I hope you can help us. Thank you.

Kind regards,

Gerald

  • Hi Gerald,

Are there any details on which firewall is being hit?  It could be that the exception is expected and the location / module being accessed should not be.

    • Is issue being seen on a GP device or HS device?
    • Which SDK is being used?
    • Has customer modified firewall settings.?

    Thanks,

  • Hi Gerald,

Thank you for providing additional detail.   Still not clear on where in the test application the error is being seen.

Is customer able to isolate the error to particular location in the code?  Could the log of the full boot + error be provided?

Did note the below documentation the J7200 PDK Release notes for SDK 8.2.

    Thanks,
