Dear Champs,

My customer is considering to use AM625 for their new product and one of their requirement is physical security.

As I understand, physical security is not supported in AM625, but I would like to check if there is a way to implement physical security by adding additional device or tamper HW module.

Could you please provide comments how physical security can be implemented on their HW?

Is it possible to implement tamper detection and other physical security functions using MCU block of AM625?

I found tamper detection reference design for smart metering in below.

    Hello SI,
    Customer had system designs in past with Sitara device as listed below based on the security requirements.
    - Sitara GP + TPM
    - Sitara HS
    - Sitara HS + TPM
    When physical security is the requirements, one of options is attaching an external TPM with Sitara (GP or HS).
