AM6442: PMIC reference

I would like to use a PMIC for AM64x power supply. Use case  VSYS=5V, DDR4 Memory

Which one would you advice ?

• TPS65218
• TPS65219
• TPS65220
• Other one ?

TPS6521901 seems designed for AM62x but seem ok.

Multiple PMIC options are available for powering the AM64x on TI.com.

TPS65220 seems not available at all

I don't find a lot of information about TPS65218 with AM64x, but 

TPS65218 is not recommended for new designs. This product continues to be in production to support existing customers and this PMIC is for ARM Cortex-A8/A9 SoCs.

TPS6521855 seem well suitable and designed for AM64x.

Complementary question. Do I heve to program this TPS befor to use it for AM64x or is it default programmed to be suitable for power supply an AM64x out of the box ?

There is different orderable part number (OPN) variants of the TPS65220x and TPS65219x PMICs that come factory programmed to power the AM64x processor. Selecting the right OPN will be based on the application use case and design requirements.
