SK-AM62: hdmi transmitter

Part Number: SK-AM62

Hello,

I have the SK-am62 E3 version that uses a SII9022 HDMI transmitter. I have the following questions.

1. does it use 16 or 24-bit RGB? The schematics are a bit confusing to me, it shows 24 lines but 16 of them are connected to the SOS. is this right? why not do the whole 24-bit? see attached.

2. what video format does your Linux build uses? 16RGBB?

3. in the driver for sii9022 located in drivers/gpu/drm/bridge, it appears it's using 24bit RGB, can you explain this? screenshot below.

4. in the datasheet for sii9022, it gives 4 different i2c addresses when one signal is high (which is the case in sk-am62), but that address is different from what you use in the device tree. you use 0x3B while datasheet suggests other addresses. see attached. why?

I'll appreciate it if you answer all these questions.
