Hi Team,

This is Cary, sales for ZTE.

ZTE bought 4 J7EXPC01EVM test boards. During the quality inspection, it was found that the solder pins of one board were misplaced. Because it is the same batch of goods, the customer needs to apply for a return of all 4 boards, and then re-order the purchase later.

How do we need to request a return?

  • TI will only warranty the EVM if it is non-functional.  The reported issues I've seen are more of a cosmetic item (bent pin on test header, excess solder on a pin).  Is there any functional issue with the board(s) when using?  If so - please report specific issue(s) and I will see if I can help debug remotely and/or confirm the board is defective.
