    Thank you for your reply. I found that the vision_apps project seemed to use the XDCtools and sys/bios. And could I use only the freertos without XDCtools as the project mcusw\mcuss_demos\profiling\can?

    Why does the poject use sys/bios? I would like to evaluate whether I could use the same freertos for all r-cores?

sys/bios is TI RTOS, which is no longer supported in starting from SDK8.0 on R5F/C6x/C7x cores.. Yes, you could use FreeRTOS on all R5F cores.

But any specific reason you are using application in mcusw\mcuss_demos\profiling\can folder.

      Now I would like to use mcusw\mcuss_demos\profiling\can in MCU10 only.

But CAN profiling application does support freertos. I see in the makefile, ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j721e-evm-08_04_00_02\mcusw\mcuss_demos\profiling\can\makefile, freeRTOS as BUILD_OS_TYPE is supported. Are you facing any issue in build this example for FreeRTOS?
