PROCESSOR-SDK-AM335X: EtherCAT supporting processors

Can you provide a list of AM335x processors which support EtherCAT. The datasheet of AM335x says 

"Programmable Real-Time Unit Subsystem and Industrial Communication Subsystem (PRU-ICSS)
– Supports Protocols such as EtherCAT®,"

It gives the impression that all AM335x with PRU-ICSS co processor supports EtherCAT. However, if we filter the AM335x with EtherCAT perihpheral, only AM3357 and AM3359 support EtherCAT.

Can you clarify which AM335x supports EtherCAT.

    Hi Jagbir,

    Yes you are correct, the only part numbers that support EtherCAT are AM3357 and AM3359. 

    PRU-ICSS Co processors  are only on Part numbers AM3356/7/8/9 and AMIC110 and AM3358-EP that supports Ethernet, Profibus, Profinet Protocols.
