AM4378: Processor Migration from AM4376 to AM4378

Part Number: AM4378
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM4376

Hi,

due to chip shortages we have a requirement to migrate temporary from AM4376 Processor to AM4378.
Only difference between these two parts from the same family will be in the 3D Graphics accelerator (SGX530) and different DEV_FEATURE register value.
Since we haven't needed 3D Graphics in the past (therefore the AM4376 was chosen) and we still don't need it, these two parts are drop in replacement from HW point of view. It means no HW changes on the custom PCB for the AM4378 is needed. Do you agree with this statement?
What would be necessary to do here from the FW/Linux point of view?

Of course, ideal situation would be just to replace parts on the pick-and-place machine and do nothing on either, HW as well FW side.

used part AM4376BZDN100
new part AM4378BZDND100
