DRA829V-Q1: DRA829V-Q1

Part Number: DRA829V-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRA829V

Hi,

We need to configure a DRA829V GPIO as a Reference Clock to 40MHz that will clock an external device.

Is that possible and if so which pins should then be configured as a 40MHz reference clock?

Thanks!

Best Regards

Goran

  • You could use AUDIO_EXT_REFCLK (0, 1, 2, 3) for generating a 40MHz clock.  Another option would be to use a SPI_CLK if a SPI interface is not being used.  Note the clocks are designed to be used as functional reference/interface clocks, not as source clocks for other peripherals. There are no clock specifications (jitter, etc) available for these clocks.
