AMIC110: Using DP83826I PHY paired with AMIC110 processor

Hi,

We are developping a EtherNet/IP based remote IO unit using Sitara processor(AMIC110).
On the evaluation board:TMDXICE110, DP83822I is used for PHY.
Please teach us if we can use DP83826I for PHY paired with AMIC110 processor.
We think that we can interface between AMIC110 and DP83826I by MII.

The DP83826 is a newer device and should be functionally compatible.

It does include different modes of operation.

Please read through the DP83826 device datasheet.

You can start another thread with title DP83826 vs DP83822 to get more information on the differences and similarities.
