AM3359: Header file

Hi TI Support Team,

I'm working on AM3359ICE using SDK Linux.

I need to work on GPIO pins in AM3359ICE. I don"t know how to program for Am3359ICE because in SDK Linux packages doesn't have any specific .h for AM3359ICE. Please guide me how to program for AM3359ICE(Both baremetal and linux).

Hi Priyadharshini,

To use GPIO in Linux, please following the process below.

- set GPIO pinmux in the kernel board DTS file;

- reference the GPIO pinmux in "&am33xx_pinmux" node in kernel DTS file;

- control the GPIO pin in Linux sysfs;

Hi Bin Liu,

I successfully modified the DTS(am335x-icev2.dts) file, built the dts file in Kernal, and booted my AM3359ICE board via SD card.Now I need to know for my custom board that will be using an AM3359 processor.I discovered am33XX.dts in the SDK Linux packages, but I don't understand it because it has nothing to do with the AM3359 datasheet.

Please guide me on how to programme for the AM3359 processor using Linux.

HI,

I want to programme for GPIO and UART on my custom board using the AM3359 processor. One of my gpio pins is connected to the led, so I need to programme it to blink on Linux.

And i want to clear one more doubt here: I modified GPIO pins and built successfully on my AM3359ICE right. Now, I need to work on UART also (in my AM3359ICE), so I included some lines in my device tree file. I've attached my modified device tree file image below.
