Sir,For this I need SDK? If i need SDK,then which version i install for this. and I am not able understand (Our SDK Kernel already has the usermode SPI driver enabled (CONFIG_SPI_SPIDEV) this line.

And This (spitest.c) will work for SPI Flash(W25Q64).

In Pinmux,we need to set Address of CLK,MOSI,MISO and CS pin ?

I am trying to build dts file for SPI flash Memory(W25Q64) but  i am getting like this "recipe for target 'arch/arm/dts/am335x-icev1.dtb' failed".

Here I have added a my dts file for spi0 (I am using linux kernel version:-4.15.0 and SDK version:-ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-05.01.00.11-Linux-x86-Install)

We no longer support SDK v5.x but I can try to provide some generic advice.

1. There should be some more context besides the one-line error message you provided here that you should check for clues, usually a line number reference or something pointing to the error location.

2. Such errors are often caused by either syntax errors in the DTS file, or by some invalid phandle references. The dtc compiler can be very picky, even a single missing semicolon is enough to throw it off. One way to figure this out is to cut out pieces of the DTS file until it starts building, and then you know what caused it.

I want to ask one question? I am trying to build with SDK version 05.01.00.11,It is not happening.But I am trying with another SDK version(06.03.00.106),It is happening. For Both SDK version,Kernel version is also different.

We no longer support SDK v5.x or SDK v6.x. You should consider moving to the current SDK series (v8.x) for a better performance, more feature rich, and less vulnerable/more secure software baseline that is officially supported.

As for your specific issue make sure you follow all the setup instructions in whatever SDK version you are using, which for v05.01.00.11 can be found here: https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-linux/esd/docs/05_01_00_11/linux/index.html

Also without any build/error log it is impossible to point you into some direction here.

But Sir, On the basis of linux kernel version, We download the SDK kernel version.

I am using  linux kernel version 5.4.0.That why ,I downloaded SDK version(v06.03.00.106).
