TMS320C5517: Example material on the aec algorithm

Hi Team,

My customer used TMS320C5517 on audio conference system application, and would like to request the example code on the AEC algorithm.

The algorithms used are based on itu open standards, such as itu-t g.168 and g.164, which were opened in 1997.

Could you help comment on this demand?

There is an Acoustic Echo Removal (AER) library for C55xx:

I also checked with the SEM team on the reference code for TIDA-01589. Will get back to you tomorrow.

As I recall, we worked with a 3rd party Adaptive Digital for the 2-channel AEC on C5517 using TIDA-01589: www.adaptivedigital.com/.../

Hi William,

We never done any AER/AEC reference design code for TIDA-01589 and C5517. The only thing close to what you need is the TIDEP-0077: TIDEP-0077 reference design | TI.com. The reference code for it is in the C55xx CSL 03.08.01: https://dr-download.ti.com/software-development/driver-or-library/MD-hjvTSwjjn1/03.08.01.00/TMS320C55XXCSL-LOWPWR-03.08.01.00-Setup.exe.
