Hi,

I am using Jacinto 7 EVM Quick for TDA4VM and DRA829V. I use the pre build Linux, boot from SD card and did all the stepps from the Quick Start Guide. Power supply is 12V at 0,44A. It seems the EVM does not boot correctly. I still have no UART communication. What can I check?

I download "ti-processor-sdk-linux-rt-j7-evm-08_06_01_02-Linux-x86-Install.bin" and install and format the SD card describet in "1.1.3. Formatting SD card on Linux"

everiything looks good but still no UART com. Maybe there is something with the first stage bootloader?

Hello,

Your SD card looks like it was formatted correctly, lets check your DIP switch settings and the UART connection you are using. Can you please share those? It should look like this:

Hello Erick,

I check the DIP switch settings and seems okay and I also use the main UART. On your pictures I see J721EXSOMG01EVM also in the Quick Start Guide but on my EVM J721S2XSOMG01EVM is mounted. Is these a problem, does the pre-complied binarys work on both?
