DRA744: Offset picture data for display

Part Number: DRA744

Hi Team,

Branching off of the original thread to reopen this topic. To clarify, what is the process to shift an image as mentioned in the original thread? The team has not had any success with the method described.

Additionally, can you help us understand how to change the stride paraments for VPDMA for output?

Sincerely,

Ryan

  • Hi Ryan,

Could you please provide us the exact requirement? Is it to shift the input image or to position the input image onto bigger output image?

    Regards,

    Brijesh

  • Hi Brijesh,

The expected result is to see, the camera image shifted when shown on display.
Please suggest if we can achieve this by shifting input image or by positioning input image when shown on display?

  • Hi Ajith,

Yes, this is possible, but only in the case, when output from DSS is larger than the video pipeline output. For example Video pipeline can be configured to output 1280x720 resolution, but the actual output from the DSS can be 1920x1080, in this cas, input image can be positioned on the output image.. In this case, please use posx/posy parameters in the pipeline configuration to position it on the output image..

If the output from video pipeline is same as the output from DSS, it is not possible to use this feature.

    Regards,

    Brijesh
