PROCESSOR-SDK-AM62X: Config kernel parameter

Hello,

Let me confirm about below.

Q1. According to following URL, TI described that TI recommend to use make menuconfig. However, is there any specific directory which use perform make menuconfig ?
3.2.1. Users Guide — Processor SDK AM62x Documentation
Q2. According to above URL, TI recommend to use menuconfig to customize parameter, however, is it allowed to change tisdk_am62xx-evm_defconfig directly instread of using menuconfig ?

go to kernel_src_root_dir
make ARCH=arm64 CROSS_COMPILE=aarch64-none-linux-gnu- defconfig ti_arm64_prune.config (this will create a updated temporary .config file in rootdir)
make menuconfig (select the config changes and updates you want to do )
make savedefconfig (this will save the updated configuration in .config file at rootdir)

make ARCH=arm64 CROSS_COMPILE=aarch64-none-linux-gnu- Image dtbs modules ( This will create all necessary kernel components build)

update rootfs folders of boot and /lib/modules folder with your newly generated images.
