TDA2P-ACD: I2C Multi-master/multi slave mode

Dear TI colleague,

I want to ask if TDA2P-ACD can be I2C Master to config the peripheral I2C slave device

and in parallel be I2C Slave simultaneously to receive the data transmitted from other SoC.

there's some general I2C description in datasheet but i want double check to avoid misreading issues

Hi,

Do you mean simultaneously using i2c as slave and master? I dont think this is possible. Here multi-slave means multiple slave could be on the same bus and multi-master mean, single bus can have multiple master..

thanks a lot for clarification; but the I2C can be switched between master and slave right ? is there any specific configuration if i want switch I2C from master to slave ?

Hi,

Well, possible, you will have to reconfigure driver for master or slave mode.
