I have a question related to

According to the above E2E thread, there are some types of EVM for AM62x SoC.

Will you be restricted to one of these EVMs in the future?

In other word, are there EVMs that will not be available for sale in the near future?

Hello Tsurumoto,

Yes, SK-AM62 with GP device and SK-AM62B with HS-FS device will go obsolete in near future. The SK-AM62B-P1 is the only EVM will be available.

Hi TI,

Please, consider integrate not less than 4 GB DDR RAM for new Linux-based products, as complex tasks (including compiling, calculating large multidimensional arrays) require large memory footprint even for 1 task/thread scenarios.

Hi again,

And the more practical version of low power chip of OpenGL-ES+Vulkan AM62X and featuring HEVC+C7X DSP of AM62A7 should be good, as well as low-noise (-90db) audio input/output.
