PROCESSOR-SDK-J721S2: Clock generation on the WKUP_GPIO0_11 pin

Part Number: PROCESSOR-SDK-J721S2

We are using the J721s2 device in our application. In we are working on the R5F (MCU2_1). In this we are facing an issue. We want to generate the clock 500KHz from WKUP_GPIO0_11 pin. What is procedure we need to follow.

  • Hello,

If we you want to use the WKUP_GPIO0_11 pin , then see the respective DM timer has to be mapped.

In your case you can use MCU_TIMERIO1  in Timer mode.

Initialise the respective DM timer and then adjust the clock frequency by calling  Sciclient_pmSetModuleClkFreq as required.

or if you want to adjust Duty cycle on the clock then you can PWM as well.

We do have PWM output generation based on the required timer. In the below path we do have

We do have example mcusw/mcal_drv/mcal/examples/Pwm to refer.
