Well, you already have the pins sort of properly labelled in the above diagram. So lets start with the hardware connections first.

Below is a diagram in which the connection is made to MSPM0 from SK-AM62. Could you please go through the below attachment and proceed with the hardware setup.

You need to connect the following MCU SPI pins mentioned below to the slave. The below pins are mentioned assuming you are using MCU_SPI0.

•  pin-4 (C9: MCU_SPI0_D1) in SK-AM62x MCU-header
•  pin-6 (D9: MCU_SPI0_D0) in SK-AM62x MCU-header
•  pin-8 (B8: MCU_SPI0_CS1) in SK-AM62x MCU-header
•  pin-18 (A7: MCU_SPI0_CLK) in SK-AM62x MCU-header

On this note, can you point me to the product page of the slave you are using.

This way, we both can figure out where these pins need to go.

I have already pointed a diagram above, but not sure if that is the exact slave part you are using.

I believe this is what you said earlier, okay so now I am considering MPU 9250.

I think we would need to initialize the MPU and then follow it up with getting the values(Accelerometer, Gyro and so on)

It describes each functionality of the APIs.

I am also going through these.

Meanwhile you can also go through it and figure out a couple of basic steps like initializing MPU and then receiving the values.

I checked this internally and found out from the website itself that the device MPU 9250 is marked as end of life.

None the less, I am still on it and before trying SPI communication directly, I am firstly trying to establish I2C communication.

Because, SPI requires I2C to be disabled if I am not wrong.(I read this from the datasheet/user guide)

I am going to update here on my progress step by step.

For enabling I2C, I have initiated the first step.

I found out from the datasheet that the I2C slave address for MPU 9250 is b110100X, here X represents the AD0 value.

So, AD0 value can be 0 and 1. This means we can have two sensors connected to SK-AM62.

By default, AD0 is not connected should be 0, hence I am able to see some default values coming from the sensor at 

I2C slave address: b1101000 which in hexadecimal is 0x68.

I am checking the datasheet and in process to understand how we can now access the required values.

NOTE: To understand how the communication works and if the sensor is supported, I am trying I2C, which once done, I can start with SPI.

I have been able to establish connection from SK-AM62 to MPU 9250 via I2C.

I am able to read the GYRO values, basically the X, Y and Z high and low byte values.

I was doing the above exercise to make sure that the MPU 9250 is working fine and not corrupted.

In case, you need the I2C Code, I can forward the same to you on your email.

Now, that things are clear, I am onto SPI.
