Hi Board designers, 

Refer below inputs for the queries related to the selection of evaluation module.

AM625 / AM623 / AM625-Q1 / AM620-Q1

1. SK-AM62 (PROC114Ex): https://www.ti.com/tool/SK-AM62

This is AM62x GP silicon based starter kit SK. The current status of this EVM is obsolete.

2. SK-AM62B (PROC114A): https://www.ti.com/tool/SK-AM62B

This is AM62x HS-FS silicon based starter kit  SK with discrete power solution and it will be obsolete after the current inventory is consumed.

3. SK-AM62B-P1 (PROC142A): https://www.ti.com/tool/SK-AM62B-P1

This is AM62x ( AM625 / AM623)  HS-FS, ALW package based starter kit SK with PMIC power solution +  DDR4 and will have long term support.

The "B" suffix is added for HS-FS silicon variant.

4. SK-AM62-LP (PROC124Ex): https://www.ti.com/tool/SK-AM62-LP

This is for AM525-Q1 or AM620-Q1 HS-FS , AMC package based low power starter kit SK with PMIC power solution + LPDDR4 and will have long term support.

This is AM62A HS-FS silicon based low power starter kit SK with PMIC power solution + LPDDR4 and will have long term support.

AM62x starter kit SK:

PCB Layout:- Cadence Allegro 17.4 for REV A version & Cadence Allegro 17.2 for earlier versions

 AM62A starter kit SK:

Schematic Entry:- Capture CIS 16.6

PCB Layout:- Cadence Allegro 17.2

AM62D EVM:

What is the difference between SK-AM62B-P1 and SK-AM62-LP? Under what circumstances should I refer to SK-AM62B-P1 or SK-AM62-LP?

SK-AM62B-P1 is using the industrial version of AM625 with PMIC solution TPS65219, with DDR4.

SK-AM62-LP is the low power design reference using the automotive  version AM625-Q1 with PMIC solution TPS65219, with LPDDR4.
