I have a question about the part of NOR Flash which is on the application board of AM3517EVM.
I saw following TI wiki:

It said: If your NOR flash has a nADV pin(e.g. Numonyx Axcell P30) then most likely you don't need
an external latch!
At application board, why are there NOR Flash with the SN74LVC16373A?
I understand that SN74LVC16373A is for external latch, but on-board
NOR Flash(PC28F640P30B85)which is non-multiplex NOR has ADV pin.
Even if NOR Flash has ADV pin, should I add external latch?
