TDA4VH-Q1: TDA4VH how to use AF?

Accoring the user guide, The AF is supported in TDA4VH.

But i did not find AF's interface  in the  SDK,nor did I find the AF debugging interface in the DCC (2.5.0) tools.

question:

how to get AF's information ,as in the tivxAewbProcess function, i can get AE and AWB statistics

    Hi,

    Are you also planning to use AEWB? What's the use of AF?

    You can get AF statistics from VISS node, but there is not any usecase using/demonstrating this output, so there might be challenges in enabling this output.

    Are AF statistics and AWEB statistics the same thing?

    As far as know,The statistical information of AEWB is the brightness information, but the statistical information of AF is the sharpness of the picture.

    Hi li quan,

    No, statistics for AF and AEWB are different and are not available simultaneously. You will probably have to pass the frame again to get the AF statistics. 

    But this is not validated in the SDK. 

    If your concern is about sharpness, can you please enable Edge Enhancer module in VISS?
