SK-AM69: Debug C7x using CCS

Hi TI experts,

I'd like to evaluate the C7x DSP using the AM69 Eval Board within CCS v12.5. I do not intend to use the C7x as AI Accelerator.

So far, I created a project using C7000 Compiler vTI3.1.1. Since my project requires a fft, I used the fftlib from mcu_plus_sdk_am62ax_09_01_00_39.
I was able to build the project.

Now it is unclear to me what Target Configuration File to use for the AM69 Board (is it J784S4_TDA4VH.ccxml?).
Also do I need a .gel file to get the C71x running or is the A72 responsible to start or boot the DSP. In case of A72 is there an example project how to do so?
Same for C7x in general, is there an example project how to debug using CCS?

I'm assuming that you are using the SK-AM69 here. Please confirm.

If so, the GEL files for this board are not available. The target configuration however can be for j784s4.

Can you please highlight what development flow you intent to employ? Do you want to use a CCS project based approach with GEL files initializing the SoC?

CCS based projects for this SoC and GEL files for SK-AM69 are not supported.

In the SDK today, the C7x DSP is only used as an AI Accelerator and there are plans to open it up for general purpose use later this year.

precisely, SK-AM69 is the board I am using.

Is there currently no way to run a program on C7x then?
Can you give me a timeline when C7x will be open for general purpose?

I am open to use any development flow, which gets C7x built code running on the AM69. Can you help me with that?

My team would also like to use the C7x for general purpose and be able to load "raw code" on it. I am eager to hear your answer to this question.
