Hello,

I am using TLv320aic3106 audio on am62a7 but it produces noise,

I am following the steps to set amixer command below

 

amixer sset 'PCM' 75%
amixer sset 'Line' 89% on
amixer sset 'Line DAC' 85%
amixer sset 'Mono' 56% on
amixer sset 'AGC' on
amixer sset 'HP' 85%
amixer sset 'HP DAC' 85%
amixer sset 'Left PGA Mixer Mic3R' on
amixer sset 'PGA' 85%
amixer sset 'Right Line Mixer DACR1' off
amixer sset 'Right PGA Mixer Line1R' off
amixer sset 'Right PGA Mixer Mic3R' on



Audio record and play 

 
gst-launch-1.0 alsasrc device=hw:0,0 ! wavenc ! filesink location=recorded_audio.wav

gst-launch-1.0 filesrc location=recorded_audio.wav ! decodebin ! audioconvert ! audioresample ! alsasink device=hw:0,0



Device tree same as EVM board

1. Should i need to change node for reducing the noise?

    Hi Udhayamoorthi,

    Can you try to set these below amixer commands and try the alsa commands to see if it works.


    amixer sset ‘Left PGA Mixer Mic3L’ on
    amixer sset ‘Right PGA Mixer Mic3R’ on
    amixer sset ‘Left PGA Mixer Mic3R’ on
    amixer sset ‘Right PGA Mixer Mic3L’ on

    amixer sset 'PCM' 100%

    arecord -Dhw:0,0 -r 48000 -c 2 --period-size=64 -d 20 -f S16_LE | aplay -Dhw:0,0

    I am guessing you are trying to run on AM62A EVM?
