Hello Team,

We are using AM62A34 processor, In this case we want to capture 1280x960@100 fps data and send it to user space application for further process.
So, for our use case, We want to know does ISP and v4l2 framework is capable to provide 100 fps data at user application through gstreamer ?

Hi Jaimin,

As long as the total MPixel/s is less than 300, AM62A VPAC can do it. So 1280x960@100fps is fine.

But gstreamer plugin for v4l2 framework is capable to provide 1280x960@100 fps frames to user application?

Hello Jaimin,

GStreamer and V4L2 framework have no limitation on CSI data rate. The limitation comes from the CSI Rx interface, DDR bandwidth, and system load. Please refer to this FAQ for evaluating AM62A capability on camera and ISP.
